PEOPLE LABS S.R.L. (hereinafter the "Company"), with registered office in Via Emilio Salgari 17, 41124 Modena – Italy, owner of the website https://www.peoplelabs.it/ (hereinafter, the "Website"), hereby provides the privacy policy pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR), in its capacity as Data Controller of the personal data voluntarily provided by users filling out the data collection forms on the Website (hereinafter, the "Users").
The Company holds the right to privacy and the protection of its Users' personal data in the highest regard. For any information regarding this privacy policy, Users may contact PEOPLE LABS S.R.L. at any time using the contact details provided in Section 8 below.
The Company may modify this privacy policy to comply with legislative or regulatory requirements, or to adapt it to instructions issued by the competent Supervisory Authorities. Therefore, Users are advised to review it periodically.
Specifically, the Company provides the following information:
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties, it could allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.
This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Website and to check its correct functioning. The data could also be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the Website; except for this possibility, web contact data does not persist for more than a limited period and is periodically deleted.
Data subjects may voluntarily provide information that is requested and necessary for the provision of services, by filling out the specific data collection forms on the platform or by sending an email to the address indicated.
Consequently, common data, primarily of an identifying nature, may be collected (e.g., name, surname, physical and/or telephone and/or electronic contact details). The Data Controller will not collect or process "special categories of personal data" as referred to in Art. 9 of the GDPR (such as data concerning health).
The Website uses cookies in some of its areas. Cookies are files that store information on your hard drive or in your browser's cache. They allow the Website to check if the user has visited before, to load any customizations and/or preferences (such as language, screen size, etc.), and to collect certain statistical data (most visited pages, visit times, etc.). Through this data, the Website can be made more responsive to the requests and needs of users, ensuring easier navigation. For example, cookies ensure that the information on the Website during future visits corresponds to the collected and/or set preferences.
Data processing will also be carried out with the aid of IT tools for the following purposes:
a. Provision of the service voluntarily requested by the data subject (including, but not limited to: calculating quotes; obtaining or submitting commercial proposals and product requests; providing any necessary pre- and post-service assistance and/or consulting).
Legal Basis: The data collected for this purpose will be processed without the need for explicit consent from users, pursuant to Art. 6, paragraph 1, letters b) and c) of the GDPR, to fulfill contractual and/or pre-contractual obligations towards users, as well as to comply with general legal and/or regulatory obligations.
b. Sending informative, promotional, and advertising communications, offering own or third-party products and/or services, sending customer satisfaction questionnaires, and conducting surveys and market research, through any means, including telephone calls with an operator and/or automated systems (e.g., SMS, MMS, fax, autoresponders, push notifications, social media).
Legal Basis: The data collected for the purposes referred to in letter b) will be processed subject to the explicit and free consent of the data subject, pursuant to Art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR.
Providing the personal data requested for the processing operations referred to in Point 2, letter a) is mandatory. Refusal to provide this data will make it impossible for us to deliver the requested service.
Conversely, if you wish to allow the processing operations referred to in Point 2, letter b), you must provide your consent. You may revoke this consent at any later time.
Data is collected, processed, and stored mainly on magnetic, electronic, and/or telematic media. In any case, processing is carried out based on formal assignments granted prior to the start of the processing phase, alongside adequate information and instructions regarding safety measures and procedures to adopt in order to guarantee an appropriate level of security.
Please note that the data subject will not be subjected to any decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them.
Personal data will be kept only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in compliance with the minimization principle under Art. 5(1)(c) of the GDPR. Since this is a periodic, ongoing service, the data will be processed as long as the service is active or until it is interrupted by the user, without prejudice to any longer retention periods required by applicable tax, administrative, or similar legislation.
Your data may be communicated to:
a. Advisors and consultants (tax advisors, IT service providers, etc.) specifically appointed for this purpose;
b. Public authorities, should they request it or where communication is required to comply with specific legal obligations;
c. Companies providing services to the Data Controller that are functional to the performance of the activities carried out.
The list of subjects appointed over time as Data Processors (Responsabili del trattamento) will be made available, upon request and in accordance with the law, via the Data Controller's contact details indicated in Point 8 of this policy.
The data collected and processed will not be disseminated, made available, or offered for consultation in any form to subjects other than those indicated in this policy and/or provided for by privacy regulations, nor to unspecified third parties.
In pursuit of the purposes under Art. 2, the data provided by users may be transferred outside the national territory to companies belonging to the categories listed in the previous section that have their headquarters in countries belonging to the European Union. This is without prejudice to the rules on third-party cookies described in this policy.
Under the conditions provided for by EU Regulation 2016/679, you may exercise the following rights:

We also inform you that, if you believe your rights have been violated, current legislation allows you to lodge a complaint with the national Supervisory Authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
